What this is
Grasp runs oral exams on reasoning topics. Three independent graders score a recorded transcript on four dimensions: accuracy, depth, application, and judgment. A pass requires a 3 or better on every dimension. Each pass retires its topic and carries a payout.
The exam
Questions appear one at a time. You answer aloud and your voice is recorded throughout. You take the exam from your own understanding — notes, aids, and outside assistance are not permitted. An exam in progress cannot be paused.
If the exam is interrupted
If the platform cuts you off — an outage, a lost connection, a grading failure on our side — the attempt is marked interrupted. You may retake it immediately, with no cooldown and no penalty. This does not apply to an attempt you abandoned.
Results and retakes
Every completed exam produces a full scored transcript, whether it passes or fails. A failed topic can be resat after 72 hours. A passed topic is retired; the only way to earn on that topic again is to earn on a different topic.
Payouts
A pass creates a ledger entry in your name. Entries are reviewed before they are released, then paid to the payout destination you have set in your account — one destination per person. Grading decisions and payout decisions are final. You must be 18 or older, and your legal name and date of birth must be on file before any money moves.
Recordings
Your voice recording is kept for grading and handed back to you with your transcript. You may delete your recordings at any time from your account page; deletion removes recordings and transcripts only and does not affect passed topics or money already earned.
Conduct
One account per person. Impersonation, scripted or machine-generated answers, multiple accounts, or attempts to manipulate grading void the affected attempts and any earnings tied to them.
Changes
These terms may be updated. Material changes are announced on the board and by email. The version in force is the one published here.
